Join vocal coach and performer Jacob Shipley for a master class tailored to advanced teens ages 13+ seeking to refine their pop/rock musical theatre technique. In this focused session, students will work on vocal technique, style, and song interpretation specific to the pop/rock genre. Jacob will guide participants through exercises designed to strengthen vocal control, enhance performance skills, and develop a deeper understanding of the unique stylistic demands of contemporary musical theatre. This class offers a professional approach to mastering pop/rock repertoire with precision and authenticity.
MASTER CLASS: Musical Theatre Audition Coaching with Mariah Lyttle
Step into the audition room with confidence in this exclusive workshop led by Broadway performer Mariah Lyttle! Most recently seen on Broadway in Bad Cinderella (Ensemble/Bad Cinderella Understudy) and The Wiz (Swing/Dorothy Understudy) and Celie in The Color Purple (National Tour), Mariah brings her firsthand experience from the Great White Way to help you level up your audition skills.
In this master class, participants will:

Conservatory Spring '25

Ages 10-18
Playhouse Stage Conservatory - a multi-faceted training opportunity for pre-professional musical theatre students. Classes run 5-7pm Wednesday through Friday. The Conservatory will include the opportunity to take Acting, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre Dance, & Coaching classes weekly. Students will be placed by level for each technique, allowing instructors to provide appropriately leveled training and a student specific schedule and curriculum. Levels will be based on instructor evaluation. The Conservatory's five weekly classes are intended for students who plan to audition for Playhouse Stage Academy productions or pursue BFA programs in college.

Sing, Dance and Act with Me (Semester)

Young Artist Spotlight (Semester)

Students will sing, dance and act using material from their favorite musicals and TV shows! Learn the foundations of musical theatre - expanding vocabulary and building skills - all while keeping it fun. Use your imagination, be creative and build confidence!

Beg/Int Acting (Semester)

Learn the foundations of a variety of acting techniques! Explore improvisation and characterization to begin building a "tool belt" of tactics - improving your confidence and performance as a young actor.

Mat Pilates (Semester)
with Ashley Kirchner
Ages 14+
Strengthen the body and core, and connect to the breath with Joseph Pilates method! This mat-based Pilates workout focuses on core strength, flexibility, balance, and overall body awareness. The class will lengthen and strengthen the muscles while giving you a full-body workout. We will utilize the various props to help sculpt the body as well as increase strength and range of motion. Students will need a PILATES MAT and 2lb WEIGHTS for class! For ages 14+.
