Students will sing, dance and act using material from their favorite musicals and TV shows! Learn the foundations of musical theatre - expanding vocabulary and building skills - all while keeping it fun. Use your imagination, be creative and build confidence!

Willy Wonka KIDS
Grades K–6 (Ages 5–11/12 | Students must have completed Kindergarten)

Calling all young performers ready to take the stage! This high-energy, three-week musical theatre camp immerses students in singing, dancing, and acting while building strong foundational skills in performance, collaboration, and storytelling. With an increased focus on technique, rehearsal process, and ensemble work, students will experience what it’s like to create a show from the ground up.

Throughout the program, campers will be cast in and rehearse Willy Wonka KIDS, a fast-paced, 30-minute musical filled with colorful characters and unforgettable songs. Guided by professional teaching artists, students will strengthen their confidence, creativity, and stage presence in a supportive and exciting environment.

The program culminates in two fully staged performances on the historic Cohoes Music Hall stage on July 24 at 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM, giving students the thrilling experience of performing for a live audience.
