Conservatory
with Ashley Kirchner

Grades 6-12
Playhouse Stage Conservatory offers a comprehensive training program designed for pre-professional musical theatre students. Classes are held Tuesday through Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM, with schedules varying based on class placement and student age. Ahead of your first week, students will receive initial class placements from our Director of Education, which may be adjusted throughout the year to reflect individual growth and development.
Check out playhousestageacademy.org/education-calendar to see weekly schedule for approximate class times based on age!
Each week, students participate in a range of core classes, including Acting, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre Dance, and Musical Theatre Techniques. Additional optional classes—such as Pilates and College Prep—are also available and included in the Conservatory tuition. Students are placed into levels for each discipline based on instructor evaluations, ensuring that training is appropriately challenging and tailored to individual needs. On average, students attend five to seven classes per week, all designed to support their preparation for Playhouse Stage Academy productions or for admission to collegiate BFA programs in musical theatre.
