Conservatory Spring '26

Ages 10-18
Playhouse Stage Conservatory - a multi-faceted training opportunity for pre-professional musical theatre students. Classes run Tuesday through Friday, with exact hours varying depending on level placement. The Conservatory will include the opportunity to take Acting, Tap, Ballet, Musical Theatre Dance, & Coaching classes weekly. Students will be placed by level for each technique, allowing instructors to provide appropriately leveled training and a student specific schedule and curriculum. Levels will be based on instructor evaluation. The Conservatory's five weekly classes are intended for students who plan to audition for Playhouse Stage Academy productions or pursue BFA programs in college.
Sing, Dance and Act with Me (Semester - Spring)

Calling all young performers! Combine singing, dancing and acting into one fun filled class! Focused on creative drama, students will use their imaginations to create characters and tell stories using their voices and movement!
Young Artist Spotlight (Semester - Spring)

Grades 3-5
Students will sing, dance and act using material from their favorite musicals and TV shows! Learn the foundations of musical theatre - expanding vocabulary and building skills - all while keeping it fun. Use your imagination, be creative and build confidence!
Musical Theatre Dance - Beginner / Intermediate (Semester - Spring)

For 6th - 8th Grade or 9th-12th Grade Beginners
Jazz technique, strength and flexibility, and performance - all rolled into one! Come dance with us every week as we warm up the body, improve our placement and line, and then rock it out with a combination from your favorite musicals!
Musical Theatre Dance - Intermediate / Advanced (Semester - Spring)

For 9th - 12th grade
Building on concepts from Beg/Int MT Dance, this class is an ideal continuation for older and more advanced students in conjunction with ballet, especially while preparing for college auditions! Improve your technique with a challenging physical warm up, through across the floor progressions, and then work your memorization and "pick-up" skills by learning a combination from your favorite Broadway shows.
